Outcrop

Outcrop is a DBMS whose storage layer is a folder of markdown files: record = one .md file with YAML frontmatter, table = folder, git = the transaction log. This bundle is Outcrop's own architecture documentation stored in Outcrop's native format — every component, external interface, and non-negotiable design decision is a queryable record, and the wikilinks between records form the system's dependency graph. Query it with Outcrop itself: outcrop --root <this folder> query "SELECT title, layer FROM components".
